And as we welcome the new year, I want you to envision a successful freelance career this 2023. Where you’re doing the things you love while maintaining a steady flow of income every month.

Back in 2017, I only charged clients $3/hour. Which I thought was enough.

But a lot has changed since.

I can charge higher now because of the strategies I learned and the experiences I gained working with clients. It made me realize earning a six-figure income is doable.So to help you reach your monthly income goal, here's a simple guide you can follow.

The step-by-step process you can use to jumpstart your freelance career this 2023.

Step 1:

Look for an industry that’s close to what you love doing. Research this industry to help you understand its problems.

Step 2:

Reach out to these business owners through cold email or by connecting on social media and offer solutions to their problems. You can also do a BCS or collaboration with other freelancers. The goal is to apply what you learned from the courses you acquired and improve your skills.

Step 3:

Satisfy your client. Complete your tasks on time. And look for ways to get better every day.

Step 4:

Take care of your money and your health. Develop habits to help you work efficiently and faster.

Steps 5:

Start prospecting again. So you can implement what you learned from your current client. This will help you test and see if your strategies are working.

Step 6:

Once you experienced working with multiple clients. Look for similarities like age, gender, business type, etc. This will help you define your ideal client profile. Once you’re able to identify your client persona. Stick to it, and don’t accept projects not aligned with your ideal client profile.

Step 7:

By this time, you have already developed strategies and earned enough experience working with your ideal clients. You're now a master of your skill. It will allow you to get high-paying clients or charge more while doing what you love.

There you have it. Sounds easy. But it's really that simple.
