You can use many of these titles at the same time. Like how you can call yourself an expert, even if you're a newbie since you are the only one who can qualify yourself for the title.

As for me, I've offered various services over the years. But when I understand the concept of freelancing as a business. I never looked back and even called myself a soloprenuer.

You see, most freelancers think the only way to earn is by acquiring a client. That's why all of our efforts follow one direction. We look for mentors, enroll in courses, optimize our profiles, and upskill because these are the ways that could help us land a client.

But do you know that aside from freelancing, you can sell digital products too? Selling digital products is a great way to diversify income streams and increase your revenue.

I discovered this concept a little late and wished I had known about it earlier. Now, I'm selling digital products as an aside and earning from it with less effort.

Because as a freelancer, you're in a much better position to start selling online. Why? You know how to put the right product in front of the right people at the right price.

Actually, we've been discussing this inside my community. And I was encouraging my members to try it because I've made some good money selling digital products. Today, I thought of sharing it with you as well.

So, if you're considering selling digital products, here are some steps you need to do to start:

What will be the outcome after using your digital product?

List the benefits of your digital products your target customer can expect after buying from you. Then ask yourself, in terms of helping your customer achieve their goals, how does your digital product compare to others on the market?

Keep in mind the right product provides value to customers.

Who are the customers that will benefit from your digital product?

Identify your target customer and understand where they are in their journey.

For example, I sell a digital product called How to Build an E-commerce Email Marketing Portfolio Even If You Have Zero Experience. This product helps aspiring email marketers build their portfolios even if they don't have experience.

In this case, I targeted aspiring email marketers.

Check the pricing of similar products online.

I offered my product at a fair price since my target audience is a newbie or aspiring email marketer who still needs to get a client. An expensive product won't make sense to these customers.

Look at similar products, check their prices, and compare the quality and your content. Again, the goal is to put the right product in front of the right people at the right price. Having the lowest price on the market might mean your product could be of lower quality.

Find that balance in your pricing.

That's it.

Don't be afraid to get started. Your ideas are great. There will be people who need it and are willing to pay you. You can use your social media account to validate your offer.

My first digital product came from one of my social media posts. Now I have two Gumroad accounts generating passive income monthly.
